    Hi Venus,

    During my year 2010 in UK, some of my friends were able to do that. However, please bear in mind that you need to show your parents' bank statement which are able to withdraw immediately. Let me put it this way, statement such as Fixed Deposit, money in stock market, or other investment accounts will not be accepted. This same goes to your account if you are using that for your application.

    However, I heard that UKBA is getting stricter on the visa application. Hopefully there's someone else who have just applied recently able to help you out on here.

    I dont think they will interview you via skype. Most of the university will required you to interview in person.

    You may ask them whether they have any representatives in Malaysia that could interview you on their behalf.
